Sea Leveled

6 X 11.5"
Oil on panel
From one of the bazillion photos we took while at Hilton Head.  It might have been chilly but the ocean was so alluring, it would have to been iced over to keep us away.  This is of my lovely friend Mona, taking in the beauty.

  1. It looks great! I love the yellow hat and jacket. Makes me want to go back to Hilton Head!

  2. Thanks Maria! As I sit here in Northern Indiana with the fireplace going, I have to say, ME TOO!

  3. Hmm... It's barely above the freezing point here, so Hilton Head seems very alluring to me, too!
Great piece, especially the flip flops and the feet in general are perfect!

  5. Regula and Cathy! Thanks you two! As I look at this post, I see some irony in the title because the horizon looks anything but leveled. Cathy I remember Karin showing you how to use that photoshop trick to fix corners - I think I could use that because when I look at the painting, the ocean's not crooked. I'm such a cyber-moron.
