As I worked on this, I kept trying to imagine what I could say to describe my Aunt Jerry and found I couldn't adequately edit a fitting description down to a few sentences. Those of us that knew her and loved her know the amazing person she was, so I'll leave with the following. She lived long enough so that she forever etched her great love, faith, and optimism in her precious face. We all miss her dearly.
Terri, what a wonderful face! I just love this one! She is glowing!
ReplyDeleteThank you Cathy - she was one of the greatest influences in my life. She always looked at the bright side no matter what life dealt her.
DeleteTerri, I'm so sorry for the loss of your Aunt Jerry. This portrait is absolutely stunning, and a loving requiem for her. Judging from your description, you have captured her spirit beautifully. Just looking at the portrait makes me want to know her. Fabulous job my friend. (((hugs)))
