Idle Time

Oil on masonite
This is in response to Karin Jurick's blog Different Strokes for Different Folks. I love this vehicle because it's lighting the spark under my can to get back to painting. This is the second challenge I've taken and it's had an inspiring affect on my pathological procrastination.

  4. Great idea to include/add the guitar. A real interest grabber. What medium is this, Terri?

  5. Great job on the challenge! Love the creative addition of the Guitar (Dobro?) He looks much happier. I also like the tan pants rather than the blue. It helps the eye travel around the canvas in a much more interesting way.

  9. This is creative! I thought he should have a guitar in his hand, or at least be sitting outside a club of some sort listening to some good blues music. Nicely done!
