As a northerner, we have our share of pretty trees, but nothing like the beautiful specimens we saw along the beach in South Carolina.  The staggering drama of those curvy branches against the blue-blue sky and the stark sun bleached stucco walls of this house was inspiring.

      Thanks Maria! This has been sitting around in various stages since Hilton Head 2011. Once I "dug in", I couldn't stop. Those trees are amazing aren't they?!
