Our city hosts several farmer's markets throughout the summer, but this one, The Barr Street Market, is my favorite. I painted it last year and enjoyed the process, and the outcome, and I especially enjoyed that it sold right away! So when we visited it a couple of Saturdays ago on a beautiful sunny day, the bright canopies were practically glowing, inspiring me to give it another go.

It took me awhile to like sushi and I'm still a lightweight, inasmuch as I still haven't developed an appreciation for the more exotic selections on the menu, but what I do like, I LOVE! The last time I met my friend for lunch at a favorite local restaurant, the staff was gracious enough to let me take their photo. There is such atmosphere and color here!
